Overview

Exterior Styling
Smoothly molded sides, a round nose, and a dramatic swoop over the hood all define the Macan, on either model year. On the 2022 edition, seven new wheel designs are available, and the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned. New side-blade sculpting at the lower door area adds to the sporty look.
Engines
The 2021 Macan S uses a 348-horsepower turbocharged V-6. The instant power from the throttle allows for quicker passing on the highway. Looking at the 2022 Macan, the maximum output for the strongest trims is the same, but several engines are stronger. Specifically on the S trim, the twin-turbo V-6 produce 375 horsepower. In other words, the 2022 Macan S has a bit more power from the outset.
Interior
In most cases, the 2022 and 2021 Macan are the same inside. However, the 2022 Porsche Macan features a redesigned interior using black leather dash and upper door accents over the prior edition's gray pieces. The 2022 edition also gets an upgraded sportier steering wheel, shifter, and center console, and a touch screen blended directly with the center console.
Overall, the 2022 Porsche Macan has some pleasant enhancements inside, outside, and under the hood. Both editions are highly customizable and are a great deal, but looking at the S trim levels of both, the highest-value package would be the 2022 Macan.
