2023 Porsche Cayenne vs. 2022 Porsche Cayenne

2023 Porsche Cayenne vs. 2022 Porsche Cayenne

Overview

A longstanding series with endless options, the Porsche Cayenne is a luxury mainstay. Although similar to the 2022 models, the 2023 offers a few upgrades that may seal the deal if you're trying to choose. Here's a comparison of the 2022 Porsche Cayenne and the 2023 Porsche Cayenne to help you decide.

Trim Levels

Both the 2022 and 2023 Porsche Cayenne have six core model variants in coupe and SUV body styles: Base, E-Hybrid, S, GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S E-Hybrid. Each offers the best of both worlds with SUV and coupe options, and many have Platinum Editions for an extra touch of elegance. While 2022 brought the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT to the game, we think 2023 improved its stats with a sleeker, sportier look.

Performance

Although the 2023 Porsche Cayenne maintains the same high performance as the 2022 Porsche Cayenne, it's worth noting. With engines ranging from a turbo V-6 to a twin-turbocharged V-8, high speed and quick acceleration are a guarantee on any model. The base model alone generates 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, and even the eco-friendly E-Hybrid hits 60 mph in under five seconds.

Exterior

Porsche swapped its Jet Black Metallic paint option for Chromite Black Metallic on the 2023 Cayenne, which adds more dimension and style than its flat predecessor. The headlights also changed slightly in 2023 to a sharper, more angled shape, and a revised grille features new front air inlets. You can't go wrong with either option, but we think the 2023 Porsche Cayenne's updates make it the winning option.
