2024 Porsche Macan vs Cayenne

The Power 

The entry-level Macan gets a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 261 horsepower. The Macan S bumps up performance with a 2.9-liter turbo V-6 with 375 horsepower, while the GTS uses the V-6 but tunes it to deliver 434 horsepower. The Cayenne is slightly larger than the Macan and starts with a 3.0-liter turbo six-cylinder with 348 horsepower. The S has a turbo V-8 with 468 horsepower and an E-Hybrid with 463 horsepower.

The Technology

Both the Cayenne and the Macan have room for five people, but the Cayenne fits in the midsize market and the Macan is a compact SUV. The Macan comes standard with partial leather upholstery, heated front seats, and three-zone automatic climate control. Choose the larger Cayenne for power-adjustable, heated front seats and power-adjustable steering wheel. Porsche offers several options for the Cayenne, including ventilated front seats, driver's seat memory functions, and massaging front seats. 

Size

Both the Macan and the Cayenne come fully equipped with tech features. The Cayenne has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and navigation. You'll get a 10.9-inch touchscreen in the Macon.
