Meet the New 2022 Porsche 911 Carrera CabrioletAnother year is fast approaching, and you might be thinking about upgrading your wheels. Time flies, but the engineers at Porsche keep up with it: they have done it again with the 2022 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. Read on as we introduce a sports car that is sure to get your heart racing.

Pedal to the Metal

You will truly feel like you’re in a sports car with the horizontally opposed engine in the back making for a low center of gravity, allowing you to make those smooth turns even at higher speeds.

Added to this is Porsche’s revolutionary Doppelkupplung transmission system – derived from motorsports – which will allow you to shift smoothly between the eight gears without affecting the power. What’s more, the engine comes with a twin-turbo configuration that translates into outstanding power and responsiveness.

Sport Suspension

If all these sporty features weren’t enough, the 911’s Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) actively assesses the driving conditions to deliver superior comfort. The Cabriolet model also features motorsport-tested PASM Sport suspension for when you really want to ramp up through the gears.

Comfort You Deserve

Boasting supportive seats that have been designed with sport in mind and which can be electronically adjusted, including a Memory Package for the driver’s seat, you won’t want your journey to end! This isn’t just a sports car though, as the 2022 model also includes a trunk that offers 4.6 cubic feet of storage space which can be increased up to 9.3 cubic feet by taking advantage of the folding rear seats, making this car handy for everyday use too.

Technology That Allows You To Focus on the Open Road

There are a whole host of clever, useful systems, such as “Wet” mode, which detects wet weather and adapts the power accordingly, and Adaptive Cruise Control, which slows the car’s cruising speed down to match the vehicle in front of you; to make your driving experience even more comfortable. With Porsche Connect, you’ll easily be able to hook up your tunes to soundtrack your road trip as well as doing many other things, from voice commands to navigation.

Aside from the software, a unique feature that the Cabriolet is equipped with is a fully automatic folding roof that can be opened and closed without even having to pull over (up to a speed of 31 mph).

Night Vision

An inbuilt infrared camera sounds like a gadget straight out of James Bond, but Porsche has made it a reality. Night Vision Assist detects people or animals before they become visible in the headlight beams and displays a thermal image in the instrument panel. You might not even get a chance to use this cool feature, however, due to the innovative LED technology employed in the lights which allows for impressive levels of illumination.

A new Porsche is always an exciting event, and the 2022 Carrera Cabriolet will be no exception. Head on down to Porsche Warwick today to find out more about this exciting sports car.
